Chisinau International Airport offers its guests car parking services, located right in front of the airport and available 24 hours a day. The airport car park offers travelers 4 state-of-the-art levels with video surveillance, lower levels 1, 2 and 3 have 571 covered parking spaces, and the upper level 4 has 228 outdoor parking spaces, with a total capacity of up to 799 cars. Each level is numbered accordingly, and the number of free spaces at each level is displayed on the information boards installed in the parking lot, which makes it easier to move around the entire parking area.
The parking lot is also equipped with:
- parking spaces for people with special needs at all levels
- 2 elevators for transportation of people and goods;
- ramps for visitors and vehicles;
- video surveillance and control system;
information devices and other necessary equipment in accordance with European standards.
Chisinau International Airport offers both short-term and long-term parking.
Short-term parking is located in front of the main terminal and is for passengers getting out of the car to walk or meet someone at the airport. The cost of short-term parking is from 10 to 20 lei per hour.
For long-term parking, there is a paid parking near the main terminal for passengers who leave their cars for a longer period of time, for example, during a vacation or business trip. The fee for long-term parking is from 200 lei to 400 lei per day.
After paying for parking services, guests receive 15 minutes of free exit from the parking lot, while the first 15 minutes of parking are not charged.
How to pay for parking at the airport?
There are 6 payment terminals on the territory of the parking lot, they accept both bank cards and cash. At levels 1 and 4, 2 terminals are installed, at levels 2 and 3, one terminal is installed. If necessary, terminals have the opportunity to return the balance. And besides this, car parking services can also be paid at the operator, in the control room, located on the first level of the parking lot.
What is the parking fee?
- The first 45 minutes of parking are free;
- The first 3 hours of parking cost 10 lei per hour;
- For the next 4-10 hours, the rate is 20 lei per hour;
- For more than 10 hours, the charge is for a full day at a rate of 200 lei per day.
- For the first 1-7 days, the rate is 200 lei per day;
- For more than 8 days, the rate is 400 lei per day.
The rates shown are the same for the following days of stay.
What are the parking rules?
- Parking services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for a fee and with a parking card at the entrance.
- The card must be kept until leaving the parking lot. In case of loss or damage to the card, the driver will have to pay its cost in the amount of 100 lei.
- To pay for parking services, you can use payment terminals installed at each parking level.
- It is advisable to strictly observe the rules of the road in the parking area, as well as the requirements of the attendants
