The website justrent.md is operated by EDGE CAR S.R.L., IDNO 1022600053649, registered office at 14 Nicolae Titulescu Street, MD-2015, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova ("JustRent", "we" or "us"). Under Law No. 195/2024 on personal data protection, we are the controller of the data collected through cookies on this website.

2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the website to work properly, remember your choices and, only with your consent, measure traffic and the results of our advertising campaigns. In this policy, "cookies" also covers similar technologies such as browser local storage and tracking pixels.
First-party cookies are set by justrent.md, while third-party cookies are set by the providers whose services we use (Google, Meta). Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies), others stay stored for the period shown in the table below (persistent cookies).
3. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
The website cannot work without them: you would not be able to search for available cars, calculate the price for your dates or send a booking securely. These cookies are always active and cannot be switched off in the consent banner. You can block them in your browser settings, but some parts of the website will then stop working.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, for how long, on which devices and from which sources visitors arrive. The data is analysed in aggregate and helps us improve the website. These cookies are only activated with your consent.
Marketing cookies
We use Google Ads and Meta Pixel to measure how many bookings come from our ads and to show you relevant ads on other websites and social networks. These cookies are only activated with your consent.

5. How to give and withdraw consent
On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept all cookies, reject them or choose each category separately. Until you make a choice, we do not store analytics or marketing cookies in your browser. We use Google Consent Mode v2, so Google services follow your choice: without consent, they do not store or read analytics or advertising cookies.
Your choice is kept for 12 months, after which we will ask you again. We will also ask again if we change this policy. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer.
6. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies are used to provide the service you request (searching for and booking a car) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only on the basis of your consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
In addition to the settings on our website, you can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and others), usually under "Privacy" or "Security". You can stop Google Analytics from collecting data on all websites with the official Google browser add-on, and manage personalised Google ads in My Ad Center.
8. Transfers outside the Republic of Moldova
Google and Meta may process data collected through cookies on servers in the European Union and the United States. These transfers take place with the safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which these providers are certified. 9. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, to object to processing and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise your rights, email us at [email protected]. We will reply without undue delay and within the time limit set by law.
If you believe your data is not being processed correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova (datepersonale.md). If you live in a European Union country, you can also contact the supervisory authority in your country.

We may update this policy when we change the services used on the website or when the law changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, and the date of the last update is shown at the top.
